An alternative to the optical viewfinder of the camera, the Leica Visoflex 2 is an auxiliary electronic viewfinder designed for select Leica cameras. Perfect for working with ultra-wide-angle, telephoto, and macro lenses, which are difficult to use with the rangefinder design, this EVF features a high-resolution 3.7MP OLED panel and 100% frame coverage, along with an adjustable diopter for comfortable viewing. It’s built from aluminum for durability and also has an upward tilting design with 0, 45, and 90 positioning steps to suit working from low angles.

Viewfinder Magnifier M 1.4x
22,881 (incl. GST 27,000)
Quick View

By enlarging the viewfinder image by two fifths, image composition is more practical and easier when using recommended lenses with focal lengths of 75mm and upwards. It creates a viewfinding magnification of 1x allowing for comfortable viewing of the subject with both eyes. The viewing magnifier is screwed into the camera eyepiece and attached to the carry strap eyelet with a small chain, protecting it from loss and damage. It comes with a leather to store it.The thread adapter (24001) is necessary to use the magnifier with the Leica M10.

By enlarging the viewfinder image by a quarter, it facilitates image composition when using lenses with focal lengths of 50mm and upwards. At the same time, it also improves focusing accuracy especially when using tele zoom lenses. The viewing magnifier is screwed into the camera eyepiece and attached to the carry strap eyelet with a small chain, protecting it from loss and damage. It comes with a leather to store it.The thread adapter (24001) is necessary to use the magnifier with the Leica M10.

The Leica filters for the Leica M system are made of optically pure glass, parallel plane ground and precisely annealed, so the full performance of the Leica M lenses is retained even with a filter attached. The range is purposely limited to the filters most commonly needed in photographic practice. The circular polarization filter eliminates disturbing reflections on non-metallic surfaces, and helps to increase contrast as well as provide richer color reproduction.

A characteristic of polarization filters is that they show the same effect after each 180-degree rotation. The polarization filter for the Leica M is thus supplied with an adapter with a swivel fitting, allowing it to be rotated 180 degrees to in front of the viewfinder so you can assess and control its effect before taking the shot.

Compact high performance with three focal lengths: Two spheres guarantee this lens delivers perfect imaging performance. The design of the internal focusing considerably improves the quality of close-ups by applying the floating element-principle. Professional photographers will find maximum flexibility thanks to three different focal lengths.

THAMBAR-M 90 f/2.2, black paint finish

The Thambar-M 90mm f/2.2 is the resurrection of a unique classic Leitz lens: a soft focus lens creating a dreamily romantic effect particularly in the portrait range.

Following the re-issue of the Summaron-M 28 f/5.6, Leica are now further expanding their line of classic lenses with the Thambar-M 90 f/2.2. Once again, the exterior design has been carefully modified, while the optical calculations remain unchanged.

When the Thambar was originally released in 1935, Leica lenses were already renowned for their exceptionally sharp rendition. So it was all the more surprising when Leitz introduced a soft focus lens which – despite being named after the Greek term “”thambo””, meaning “”blurred”” – gave rise to images whose romantic aesthetics are not only unmatched by any other lens to this day, but also impossible to replicate in digital post-processing.

This makes the new Thambar-M an exciting counterpoint to Leica’s other 90mm focal length lenses and allows the modern-day photographer to create a special effect.
