This photography workshop by Leica Scholar Amit Verma is going to cover techniques and strategies specifically tailored for capturing professional portraits in corporate settings which includes theoretical plus hands-on session in professional setup with models for your best learning experience. This session will also include the below topics:
1. Lighting techniques: Learning how to use natural light, artificial lighting setups, and modifiers to achieve flattering and professional-looking portraits.
2. Posing and composition: Understanding how to pose subjects to convey confidence and professionalism, as well as composing shots in corporate environments for maximum impact.
3. Environmental portraits: Managing backgrounds, props, and settings to create appropriate and visually appealing portraits within corporate spaces.
4. Working with subjects: Techniques for directing and communicating with your subjects to capture authentic expressions and convey the desired message.
5. Post-processing: Editing techniques to enhance portraits and maintain a consistent corporate look and feel.
The workshops will include hands-on shooting sessions, demonstrations, critique sessions, and discussions on business aspects such as client communication and marketing. About the Scholar
Amit is a New Delhi based photojournalist who specializes in editorial photography, especially portraits.
In his two decades of experience with various magazines in India, most notable partnership is with the Forbes magazine in India. He is a regular contributor for Forbes India since 2008.
Amit's love affair with the camera started when his grandfather presented him with a box camera at the age of six. Since then, Amit has been seeing frames all around him!
As a professional he enjoys the thrill of editorial photography and the challenge of getting that perfect shot in the face of a stiff deadline.
Clicking portraits is closest to Amit’s heart as it allows him to unravel the true identity of a person– be it a corporate leader or a politician. Eventually, photography is as much about discovering one’s true self.
Payment Terms & Conditions
1. Participants must register for the workshop by completing the registration form.
2. Full payment of the workshop fee is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
3. Workshop Fee: Rs 35,000/- all-inclusive. The workshop fee only includes the participation fee.
In case of any Cancellation:
Refunds will be provided according to the following schedule:
1. Cancellation received 15-30 days before the workshop start date: 50% refund of the workshop fee.
2. Cancellation received less than 15 days before the workshopstart date: No refund will be provided.
3. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will benotified as soon as possible, and a full refund (apart from taxes wherever applicable) will be provided in case of cancellation.
4. The team will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of participants during the workshop.
5. However, the organizer will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or illness sustained by participants during the workshop or related activities.
Intellectual Property:
1. All workshop materials, including handouts, presentations, and exercises, are the Intellectual Property of the Leica Scholar and may not be reproduced or distributed.
2. Participants retain ownership of their work produced during the workshop but grant the organizer permission to use and display their work for promotional purposes.
3. By registering for the photography workshop, participants agree to abide by these payment terms and conditions.
