Seen Along the Way
Made with Leica M6 Classic
Nidhi’s Leica M6 Classic is less about photographing a particular place and more about noticing what happens along the way. There is no fixed location or defined subject, just moments that feel worth framing. With its smooth, quiet shutter and intuitive mechanical feel, the M6 allows her to work discreetly and stay focused on the scene rather than the camera.
“I tried to capture passing moments. I love the way this camera functions, smooth and silent.” — Nidhi
A Way of Seeing
For Nidhi, shooting analogue has become an important part of her photographic practice. She enjoys experimenting with different cameras and formats, but returns to the M6 for its simplicity, compact form and the familiarity of using the same Leica lenses as her digital M10. The process itself is what draws her in: slowing down, observing, framing and making each exposure count. Then comes the wait, the anticipation of seeing how those moments have translated onto film. The images in this series are moments seen along the way, photographed on the Leica M6 Classic.

NIDHI SOOD
Passing moments, observed on film.
Nidhi is a photographer who works across both digital and analogue formats. She began shooting film almost two years ago, developing a particular affinity for 35mm photography and the Leica M6 Classic. Her approach is intuitive and observational, focusing on everyday moments, fleeting details and the unexpected beauty found in passing.
