Photo story of the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court.
The High Court at Nagpur was established on 9th January 1936 for the Central Provinces and Berar. The present building’s foundation stone was laid on 9th January 1937. It was inaugurated on 6th January 1940, with it been described as “a poem in stone.
Constructed with sandstone, the two-storeyed building features a central courtyard, dimensions of 400 ft x 230 ft, and a central dome rising 109 ft.
