About the Speaker

Kabir Khan is a leading Indian filmmaker known for blending large-scale storytelling with deeply human narratives. A recipient of two National Awards, his work has been showcased at film festivals across the world. Beginning his career in documentary filmmaking, he brings authenticity and real-world nuance to films such as Kabul Express, New York, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 83, and Chandu Champion. Beyond cinema, Kabir is an avid traveller and a passionate street photographer. His personal work, often shot on Leica, captures candid, unfiltered moments from across the world, reflecting a quiet, observant approach to storytelling beyond the screen.
