Leica Photowalk – Layers & Light with Arjun Khanna & Kuber Shah
Leica Photowalk – Layers & Light is conceived around the idea of where design meets spatial thinking. This edition brings together two distinct yet closely aligned perspectives, fashion and architectural photography, within the context of Kala Ghoda, a neighbourhood defined by its layered histories, textures, and built forms.
With Arjun Khanna and Kuber Shah leading the walk, the experience unfolds as an exploration of how different disciplines approach the same environment. Arjun’s sensitivity to detail, material, and visual rhythm contrasts and complements Kuber’s focus on structure, light, and spatial composition. Together, this creates a natural dialogue, between form and function, instinct and structure, surface and depth.
Rather than a structured workshop, the photowalk is an open environment to observe how these perspectives intersect, overlap, and evolve within a real setting.
Photowalk mentors
Arjun Khanna
A leading fashion designer, Arjun Khanna’s work is rooted in precision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of material and form. His visual sensibility extends naturally into photography, where his approach is guided by balance, detail, and a refined sense of composition.
His world is shaped by an appreciation for timeless design, objects, textures, and details that carry both aesthetic and cultural value. This reflects in the way he observes and frames images, often focusing on restraint, contrast, and quiet moments within a scene. During the walk, his perspective brings a designer’s way of seeing, instinctive, detail-oriented, and visually disciplined.
Kuber Shah
An architectural and interior photographer, Kuber Shah’s practice focuses on documenting and interpreting built environments. His work explores how space, light, and geometry interact to shape visual narratives, going beyond documentation into a more layered understanding of place.
With a strong editorial background, his approach is both structured and observational, attuned to how environments hold identity through textures, patterns, and spatial relationships. He often focuses on the quieter, overlooked elements within a frame, bringing depth and context to everyday spaces.
