We are proud to introduce Layers of Mumbai Workshop, a specially curated Leica Akademie India workshop, set across the city’s most evocative neighborhoods and vibrant street scenes. Guided by the legendary Leica Ambassadors Vineet Vohra and Rohit Vohra, this three-day experience is designed to sharpen your perspective and expand your visual storytelling within one of the most cinematic cities in the world.
From the bylanes of Bhendi Bazaar to the sweeping views at Haji Ali, and through the heartbeats of Colaba and beyond, this is not just a photo walk, it’s a journey through the visual and emotional layers of Mumbai.

Itinerary
Dates: 1st August 2025- 3rd August 2025
Days: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Timings:
1. Friday Evening:
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (Introduction & First Portfolio Review)
2. Saturday & Sunday:
Morning Session: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
(Breaks included for meals and in-between discussions)
3. The workshop will culminate at the Leica Store Mumbai, where participants will receive certificates and join the final group review session.
Details
- Seats: Limited to 20 participants
- Meals: Not included – participants may dine at preferred places during breaks
- Camera Systems: Open to all, you do not need to own a Leica to participate
- This is a curated, limited-entry experience. Spots will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Image Submission Requirement
- After registration, all participants are required to submit four of their best photographs. This helps the mentors better understand your style and curate their feedback.

All rights to submitted images remain with the photographer. Leica will not use any shared work for promotional or commercial purposes.

- All registrations for the Layers of Mumbai Workshop – Leica Akademie India are non-refundable.
- Once the payment is made, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- In the rare event that Leica cancels the workshop for any reason, the full amount paid by each participant will be refunded. Refunds will only be issued if the cancellation is initiated by Leica; no other refund requests will be entertained.
